It is located
near Ratibad on Bhopal-Sehore-Funda Road; an educational zone declared
by T&CP. IFIT is only 09 kms from New Market, 12 kms from main Bus
Stand, 18 kms from the Airport. IFITs campus is spread in an area of
10.50 Acres of land with a G+2 storied building including
administrative and instructional blocks has been completed
construction of more than 45,000 sq. ft. and 35,000 sq. ft.
construction is under progress for 2009-10 batch. The entire campus is
watched by contingent of security guards, which makes the campus
absolutely safe round the clock.

IFITs LIBRARY
IFITs
well-stocked library with elegant interiors and excellent study
environment makes it the best-created library. It contains a wide
range of books on Technical & Computers with various reference
materials, Indian and Foreign journals/magazines and research reports.
IFIT subscribe to corporate information database services to make
available a large research resources and publications. In addition,
the library contains directories, industry reports and statistical
compilations that provide timely & concise information for
research & project work. As it is continuously updated with latest
books & journals the supervision and advice of the library
committee, it will serve to be one of the strongest pillars of the IFIT
temple of learning.
IFITs INTERNET CAFETERIA/COMPUTER LAB
IFIT students
will have all time Internet access. In additions to this IFIT Computer
Lab is well equipped to fill the current & future demand for IT
exposure among students. The computer Lab is equipped with latest
software’s including DOS, Windows, Linux, latest application packages
and languages.
IFITs LAB:
IFIT have
spacious and well-equipped laboratories manned by personnel
experienced in their respective areas. IFIT laboratories are equipped
with the latest equipments prove to be an ideal setup for students to
put their knowledge to practice. The institute has well equipped &
ventilated laboratories to conduct practical classes of physics,
chemistry, basic electrical engineering, mechanics, civil engineering
and so on.
To ensure the
smooth functioning of all laboratories there are well-stocked stores
within each laboratory. Trained laboratory assistants efficiently manage
the laboratories.
IFITs WORKSHOP:
IFITs huge
workshop of more than 10,000 sq. ft. with separate compartments for
foundry, welding, machine shop, carpentry and black-smithy are very
well ventilated and illuminated to provide the congenial working
environment for the students. Proper attention has been paid to the
safety aspects in the planning and functioning of workshop.
IFITs RELAXATION ROOM:
Full fledged
& seen as the most vibrant location is IFITs Relaxation Room. It
is a combination of cafeteria & relaxation room that serves its
students tea, coffee, cool-drinks, snacks and even food at prices that
suite your pocket. During the recess hours for refreshment to students
College canteen facility with snacks as well as meal is available. The
control on canteen contractor is done by administrative person on
food quality and strictly prohibiting smoking in canteen as well
as in and around the campus. TV & VCD are available to watch news
channels & educational films. This facilitates students to relax
and gain some information during scheduled breaks.
IFITs HOSTEL:
IFIT provide
separate hostel facility for their boys and girls, which is well
equipped with all basic requirements and hygienic catering services.
IFIT hostel provides phone booth, television, regular availability of
newspapers and magazines and facility to play indoor games. A warden
has appointed for IFITs hostel to maintain discipline. The hostel is
also equipped with good medical facility for regular as well as
periodical check-up.
Hostel accommodation is allotted strictly on the merit basis. However, interstate students are given preference.
