Electronics
and Communication Engineering graduates find opportunities in the
Terrestrial and extra terrestrial communication systems like
telephones, cellular phones, television, optical fiber communication,
consumer and entertainment devices where most of them need
electronics. Electronics graduates find jobs in the space programs in
satellites, etc.
With the
continuous advancements and technological innovations, the Electronics
and Communication Engineering is under constant flux, finding
applications in all human endeavors. The state-of-the-art is to keep
abreast of the technological advancements happening around. Our
goal is to provide quality education and up to date information to the
students, so that they find place in the fast changing profile of the
industry. Besides strong academic input, the students are
required to do mini projects and gain hands-on experience with the
hardware and the software tools. Visits to industry and expert
lectures from academia and industry add another dimension to the
teaching learning experience. Faculty has succeeded in keeping an
updated environment with timely up gradation of resources and
innovative teaching techniques. Technical programs like
Seminars, Group Discussions, and Workshops etc. are regular features
of the department for development of staff and students
