JOB FAIR 2007: IASSCOM

Job Fair 07 in Association with Department of IT, Govt. of MP, conducted in March '07 where more than 19,000 students comprising experienced as well as fresher from all across the country have participated for 22 companies like;  

L&T, TATA Power, Suzlon Energy, Tulip IT, Kirloskar, Win IT, Torrent Pharma, Cipla, Pratham Software, Reliance comm., CRISP, IBM, Daksh, Wipro, Manpower Marketing Services, ICICI, HCL infosystem, Honeywell, 3i Infotech, Hewlett Packard, TATA motors, MP Online & Escorts. 

738 students received their Job Offers in just 3 days at IASSCOM Job Fair.  

IASSCOMs Pool Campus drives

• Conducted Pool Campus Drive for L&T Core for 2004 – 05 - 06 - 07 batch students of core branches in April for students of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. More than 1,200 students from M.P. and 450 students from C.G. appeared in the written examination conducted at two different locations. 40 students from M.P. and 9 students from C.G. were selected and were offered Salary range between 2.32 – 3.67 lacks/ annum.
• Conducted Pool Campus Drive for L&T Core in August for the left out students of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh and inviting computer, information technology and electronics branch students of 2006 and 2007 batch along with students of core branch.
• Conducted data collection process in March 2007 for L&T Core through our IASSCOM JOB FAIR 07 and have screened that data as per company’s requirement and have organized a pool campus derive for 2008 batch, where 1542 students from M.P & C.G. appeared in the written examination at Bhopal.
• Conducted Pool Campus Drive for BD innoware Pvt. Ltd.  in September for 2006-07 batch students of Bhopal and Indore.
• Conducted Pool Campus Drive for Suzlon Energy in September & December for 2007-08 batch students. Students from all technical colleges of M.P have appeared written examination and after final interview 230 candidates got selected. Suzlon Energy visited for the first time for its recruitment activities in M.P.
• Conducted Pool Campus Drive for TATA Power in March-07 for 2007 batch students from all the Govt. Colleges in M.P.
• Conducted Pool Campus Drive for IBM India Pvt. Ltd.  In August for 2006 batch students of Bhopal and Indore.
